Editorial and Sponsored Content Policy

What we publish, what we refuse, and exactly how paid placements are handled. Send this page to anyone proposing a collaboration.

1. Every paid placement is labelled and its links are qualified

This is the part most enquiries are really asking about, so it goes first and it is not negotiable.

Any article published in exchange for payment — money, barter, free product, or any other consideration — is treated as sponsored content. On every such article:

  • A Sponsored label appears at the top of the page, visible before the article text.
  • A disclosure line states that the piece was paid for and by whom.
  • Every outbound link carries rel="sponsored nofollow", applied automatically at publication and verified by an automated check before the page goes live.

This follows Google’s spam policies, which classify exchanging money for links that pass ranking credit as link spam, and which permit paid links only when qualified with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". We apply it without exception, including for long-term partners and bulk arrangements.

If your objective is a link that passes ranking signals, we are not the right publisher and no price changes that.

2. What we accept

Content relevant to our readers: AI agents, business and workflow automation, SaaS, digital transformation, CRM, customer support, HR and people operations, finance and accounting operations, and productivity.

It must be original, written for a reader rather than for a search engine, and specific enough to be useful. Articles that restate generic advice around a link are rejected regardless of topic fit.

3. What we do not accept

  • Gambling, betting and casino content
  • Adult content
  • Speculative cryptocurrency, trading signals and investment schemes
  • Pharmaceuticals, supplements and medical claims
  • Essay-writing and academic-fraud services
  • Anything illegal in Pakistan, the EU or the United States
  • Statistics or claims presented without a checkable source
  • Content targeting a named private individual

We also decline placements whose destination URL is unrelated to the article that links to it.

4. Review process

We review the article and every destination URL before publication. We check that claims are supported, that the destination is a real business relevant to the topic, and that the piece is not duplicated elsewhere.

We reserve the right to edit for accuracy and clarity, to decline any link, or to decline the piece entirely. If we decline after payment, we refund in full.

5. Turnaround and terms

Normal turnaround is 2–3 business days from approval of the final content and link list. Payment is required before publication for first orders.

Published sponsored articles remain live for a minimum of twelve months unless the content becomes inaccurate or the destination site changes materially. We do not remove disclosure labels or link attributes at any point, for any fee.

Rates depend on volume and are available on request at hello@smartbizaio.com.

6. Editorial content is separate

Our own articles are not for sale. Nobody can pay to be mentioned, recommended, or linked to from our editorial content, and no advertiser sees an editorial piece before publication.

Where our articles cite evidence from our own prototypes, we state the sample size and the method, and we say plainly when data is synthetic rather than drawn from real customer documents.
